When: 10 p.m. Thursday, Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard
His favorite guitar: It's an Alvarez Yairi. It's probably 6, 7 years old. . . . It's just a brown electric/acoustic guitar. Nothing special.
Cost: $1,400
Why it's special: It's been there for a lot of my triumphs and failures. I used to have a great guitar. It was a blue guitar, same model, same make, that I played for tons of shows.... And that one just completely wore out. That's one of the reasons why I had to buy this one.
Favorite song to play on it: "Tell Me What You See" by the Beatles.
Does it have a name? No. (laughs.) It's called "The Brown One." "Gimme the brown one," I say.
