The show must go on

Talk about resilience. Less than a week after Pat McCurdy suffered fractured ribs in an auto accident, the singer-guitarist and his band, the Confidentials, were back onstage last weekend at the Boardwalk.

The quartet was returning from a show in Kearny, Neb., April 9 when their van slid off an icy Road in Iowa. McCurdy and drummer George Wood -- who suffered a concussion -- were brought by ambulance to an Iowa hospital, but the two were released the next day.
