She Stood Up

She stood up in the middle of a crowded room
She said "I can't take this anymore
I've heard your last lie
Now I want to see you squirm
When I say good-bye."
She stood up in the middle of a crowded room
She stood up

She stood up for the first time in her life
She said "I don't have to live like this
You and I both know
That you just can't stop hitting me
In places it won't show."
She stood up for the first time in her life
She stood up

She was so afraid & every night she prayed
That she would never be so afraid again

She stood up and she turned and walked away
She said "Nothing you can say or do
Will ever change my mind
Think of all the love you've lost
The love you've left behind."
She stood up and she turned and walked away
She stood up
