You Aren't Angry Yet

You aren't angry yet, I don't know why
They've been feeding you lie after lie
How many more people must die
You aren't angry yet, I don't know why

You aren't angry yet, but you should be
You've given up your rights for security
And now you're not secure, you're not even free
You aren't angry yet, but you should be

You should be mad, you should be ashamed
You got suckered in to their little war game
And two years on aren't you wondering
How they could be so wrong about everything

You aren't angry yet, it's all so far away
Everything is fine or so they say
No need to sacrifice, no new tax to pay
Then the levee broke the other day

Now you should be mad, you should be ashamed
After all this time, nothing's changed
The rich folks flee to higher ground
They leave behind the poor folks to drown
