If I Get To Heaven

If I get to Heaven I hope they got something to drink
I hope that everybody's cool, nobody's raising a stink
I hope my friends are there having a good time
Drinking some cheap wine
And feeling all right

If I get to Heaven I hope that the music's loud
I hope I'm not the only dancer in the whole dang crowd
I hope my friends are there having a party
To end all parties
I hope they're getting down

I hope my friends are there and they're trying new things out
Wearing their wings out
Flapping around

If I get to Heaven

If I get to Heaven I hope my hotel is nice
With pay-per-view and a bucket of ice
I hope my friends are there and we're all on the same floor
That's what we came for
To be together again

And if my friends are there, I hope they're drunk off their asses
And raising their glasses
Like we did back then

If I get to Heaven I hope that I'm not by myself
I hope those self-righteous hypocrites have gone some place else
I hope my friends are there even though they don't do much praying
And they'd rather be staying
Here on Earth for a few days

Cause if my friends are there I know they wouldn't let jerks in
But I know that He works in
Mysterious ways

If I get to Heaven
If I get to Heaven
